Issue #15
Hi Page Turners,
With a heat alert warning in the UK to New York's Smog and Ukraine's dam bursting (or is that because of Russia's missiles?) Climate change is not stopping for no one...so my question is why is why are we not doing more to stop climate change? Leave your thoughts down below or hit reply to this email.
Books 📚
I finished The Fall by Louise Jensen it was a five star read for me. Which is me trying to tell you to go read it because it was amazing. A crime/psychological thriller the ending will leave you broken and mind blown. Check out my review here- https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5591043317?book_show_action=false
Over on my blog I posted my monthly wrap-up for what I read in May and I also achieved my Goodreads challenge of reading 73 books (yay🎉😉) you can check it all out here- https://fizwrites.wixsite.com/website/post/the-books-i-read-in-may-2023

This week after three months of not watching any Netflix/IPlayer I allowed myself to indulge in it freely. Basically I binged😁 I finished watching series 4 of You.
Let me tell you I just about had enough of Joe Goldberg or Jonathan whatever because part 1 was the biggest let down ever. But I have that annoying trait of if I start something I have to finish it so when I started part 2 I went in with low expectations. And I couldn't believe the plot twists and how Joe somehow manages to have 9 lives and not giving any spoilers but for season 5 Marianne HAS to save Nadia! But why do I feel like she is going to get killed to because its friking Joe Goldberg. This series needs to end and I am glad that season 5 is the final chapter...am I going to watch it? Depends on how good the trailer is!
What do you think about conspiracy theories? I always think no matter how far fetched it is there is always a slice of truth within each claim. When I watched the docuseries on MH370: The Plane That Disappeared this couldn't be more true.
It only has three episodes that delves into the three different theories and explanation of what they think happened to the plane. I thought that in the final episode they would conclude what actually happened but I was shocked that it is STILL a mystery. It is chilling and haunting and you cannot but linger and question and come back to the question and the thought of what happend to that plane and the 269 people who are on there. When insomnia hits this is going to be my latest rabbit hole. Highly recommend watching this!

💭 My 3 am thoughts 🕒
With it being national carers week this week. It just makes me think of all those people who selflessly devote their time to care for the people who need it the most. The government need to do more for them.
