Books 📚
This week I finished a really gripping and addictive thriller called He Started It by Samantha Downing. It also felt so real because it was about a road trip (and I also took a road trip-not planned). Highly recommend full review here- https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5747105703?book_show_action=false
Is it just me because I cannot read when I am travelling because I'd rather look out (I can't even go on my phone) but I can do audio books which for long journeys is a must. For road trips my go to is normally true crime but this time I downloaded Wuthering Heights read by Joanne Froggatt (whom I absolutely love and adore) but this time I was just content without it. So this is still on my list.
What have you been up to this week? Listened to any good audio books lately, comment down below!
Opinion piece📰
So last week I mentioned I have been listening to Dua Lipa's podcast and this week I subscribed to her newsletter and found this piece by Elif Shafak (who is one of my favourite writers) so thought I would link it here. https://www.service95.com/the-way-i-work-author-elif-shafak/ hope you enjoy reading.
Further reading 📑
I have been going down rabbit holes this week using Wikipedia to go down rabbit holes so my question this week is what is your rabbit hole that you can spend hours researching and reading. My rabbit hole this week was on the origins of the moon quite a fascinating read.
💭 My 3 am thoughts 🕒
Doing something out of your comfort zone really pushes you and your able to experience new things and and aware of how far you can go.
Quote of the week ✏
I loved this quote taken from Elif Shafak on Dua's newsletter -
'We are made of water and nothing speaks to our core like water'. Put so beautifully and so true.
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this week's issue as always be sure to subscribe and share 😊I hope you look forward to next week's newsletter💌
With Love and Dua's
