Issue #42
Hi Page Turners,
The situation in Palestine is still dire and with international support for Israel wavering Netanyahu still refuses to end the war. What really broke my heart this week was reading that Jerusalem are having a watered down Christmas because of what Palestine are going through. Please consider donating as every donation counts and as Israel is continuing the attacks they need more supplies donate with the link below.

This very open and honest piece of Oprah Winfrey's weight in her own words was a very empowering read. Read it here- https://people.com/oprah-winfrey-reveals-weight-loss-medication-
I loved this piece on how creativity can be the antidote to 'internet brain'. https://www.service95.com/creativity-antidote-internet-brain/
I agree with the endless scrolling doom scrolling and generally our collective time screen is disturbing and this piece highlighted why. If we even cut down our screen time by 30mins each time and replace it by doing something creative (something mentioned in the article) just imagine how much it would do to our mental health.
💭 My 3 am thoughts 🕒
Seeing the trees leaf-less highlights winter's fast approach. Five days left to go!
Quote of the week ✏
“I hope, first of all, to feel again those nerves, that illusion, those fears, those doubts. I expect from myself not to expect anything. This is the truth. To have the ability not to demand myself what I have demanded myself throughout my career. I believe I’m in a different moment, in a different situation and in an unexplored terrain.”— Rafael Nadal, 37, on playing the 2024 Australian Open after missing an entire year (Taken from the WTA website)
